This website has been set up as part of my PhD study at Massey University.
The first phase of the study was an online forum, set up specifically for people who are caring for someone over the age of 65 who is still living at home, as opposed to living in a residential care facility. Informal carers were invited to contribute to the forum over a four month period. They were able to interact with other carers and with Me as the forum moderator, so that together we could learn more about how carers look after themselves when caring for others, and identify a list of valuable things for carers to have or do, in order to maintain their own health and wellbeing.
